Oversee the entire month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing processes. This includes preparing and reviewing financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements (P&L), and cash flow statements.
Recruit, train, and supervise the accounting team, typically comprising Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Payroll specialists, and staff accountants.
: Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors. This includes preparing audit schedules, addressing audit inquiries, and ensuring accurate compliance and filing for national and local taxes.
Internal Controls
: Develop, implement, and enforce accounting policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
Assist the CFO or executive team in preparing the annual budget. Periodically compare actual financial results against the budget and analyze significant variances.
Manage and optimize the company's accounting software or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system to automate workflows and enhance efficiency.
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Candidates possessing professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Tax Brevet are highly preferred.
Work Experience
: Requires approximately 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience in accounting, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role or as a Senior Accountant.
