About the role

We are recruiting an Accounting professional to join the Motel Mexicola team in Bali on a full-time basis. As Accounting Staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of our establishment. This position is essential to our finance function, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You will work on-site at our Bali location, supporting the financial management of our hospitality operations.

• Key responsibilities
• Recording and processing daily financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
• Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy
• Preparing and maintaining detailed financial records and documentation
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly and periodic financial statements
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Supporting the month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
• Providing accurate financial data to support management decision-making
• Assisting with budgeting and variance analysis activities
• Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• What we're looking for
• Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Diploma or Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Proven experience in accounting operations or accounting support roles within hospitality or similar service industries
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reconciliation
• Sound understanding of basic accounting principles, practices, and regulations
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Reliable communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• High level of discretion and professionalism when handling financial information
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures
