Accounting Staff

About the role

PT Indonesia Xinda Trading is seeking an Accounting Staff to join our finance team in Gempol, East Java. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. As Accounting Staff, you will be responsible for performing essential accounting functions that directly support the financial health and compliance of the organisation. This role is integral to ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded, classified, and reported in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

• What you'll be doing
• Recording daily financial transactions in the general ledger and subsidiary accounts with accuracy and attention to detail
• Preparing and reconciling bank statements, cash accounts, and other financial records on a monthly basis
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Supporting the accounting team with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Assisting with internal and external audit requirements by providing requested documentation and information
• Collaborating with other departments to resolve billing and payment inquiries
• What we're looking for
• Completed secondary education at minimum; an accountancy qualification or relevant tertiary qualification is preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, ideally within a similar trading or commercial environment
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Accurate)
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and financial reporting standards
• Excellent attention to detail and mathematical accuracy in all financial work
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to maintaining confidentiality of financial information
