HOTEL / VILLA ACCOUNTANT

We are seeking a qualified, experienced, and detail-oriented Hotel / Villa Accountant to join our team in Berawa, Canggu, Bali.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the property’s accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, implementing effective financial controls, and supporting management in achieving strong financial performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the hotel/villa property.
• Maintain accurate and timely financial records and accounting entries.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Monitor daily revenue, cash collection, bank transactions, and operational expenses
• Perform daily and monthly bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
• Review invoices, purchase orders, payment requests, and supporting documents.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Monitor departmental expenses and support effective cost-control initiatives.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of all financial records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable Indonesian tax regulations.
• Coordinate with Operations, Purchasing, Front Office, and other departments regarding financial matters.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Provide financial analysis and information to management when required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a hotel, villa, resort, or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality accounting procedures and financial controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Good understanding of AP, AR, General Ledger, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of Indonesian taxation and statutory requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous hotel/villa pre-opening experience will be an advantage.
