Requirements
- minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting or a similar position
- strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- proficient in microsoft excel and accounting software.
- detail-oriented, analytical, decisive, and highly committed to integrity.
- adaptable, with excellent time management skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
- able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and general ledgers.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
- Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements and reports.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, classified, and supported by relevant documentation.
- Assist in preparing and filing tax reports in compliance with applicable tax regulations.
- Reconcile accounting data and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial and tax records for audit purposes.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes and perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.
