About the role
This role involves leading the accounting function, overseeing financial reporting, compliance, and team management. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, coordinating audit processes, and managing tax obligations while leading and developing an accounting team.
- Key responsibilities
- Prepare and ensure accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Review and analyse financial reports to support business needs
- Ensure accounting processes and records comply with company standards and policies
- Develop and implement effective accounting procedures aligned with applicable standards
- Lead, direct, and monitor daily work of the Accounting team
- Allocate tasks and ensure team work is completed accurately and on time
- Coordinate internal and external audit processes
- Ensure company tax obligations are met in accordance with applicable regulations
- About you
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a supervisor, assistant manager, or in a position with team leadership responsibilities
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes
- Knowledge of corporate taxation
- Ability to perform data analysis and financial report analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly advanced functions and features
- Familiarity with accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, Accurate, or similar systems
- Leadership and team management capabilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented with attention to accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work to targets and deadlines
