Job description for AWS Partnership Executive at SotaTek
JOB DESCRIPTION
The AWS Partnership Executive
supports the company in managing its partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The role focuses on maintaining AWS Partner status, tracking AWS programs and funding activities, and coordinating required documents with internal teams.
This position is suitable for fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience. Previous AWS experience is not required, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
AWS Partner Program Support
- Support the maintenance of the company’s AWS Partner tier and program requirements.
- Track important requirements, deadlines, certifications, customer references, and AWS opportunities.
- Assist with applications and renewals for AWS competencies, validations, and partner programs.
- Update information and monitor pending actions on AWS Partner Central.
- Collect supporting documents from Sales, Presales, Delivery, Marketing, Finance, and Technical teams.
- Assist in preparing documents for AWS reviews, audits, and validation activities.
Funding and Document Management
- Track AWS funding applications, approved amounts, project expenses, claims, invoices, and payment status.
- Collect and organize supporting documents, including contracts, invoices, reports, and proof of execution.
- Check that documents are complete and submitted before the required deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of funding income and expenses.
- Follow up with internal teams when information or documentation is missing.
- Support the resolution of rejected claims or payment differences under the guidance of the line manager.
AWS Programs and Benefits
- Learn about AWS partner programs, incentives, funding opportunities, training, certifications, and events.
- Monitor new announcements and updates from AWS.
- Share relevant AWS program information with internal teams.
- Help identify programs and benefits that may support the company’s business, marketing, and technical goals.
- Maintain a calendar of AWS deadlines, renewals, events, and program milestones.
Coordination and Reporting
- Communicate with AWS representatives and internal stakeholders under the guidance of the line manager.
- Schedule meetings, prepare meeting notes, and follow up on action items.
- Prepare regular reports on program status, funding, deadlines, and pending tasks.
- Maintain an organized repository of AWS documents and records.
- Support AWS workshops, partner events, and other partnership activities when required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, English, or a related field.
- Fresh graduate or candidate with up to one year of working experience.
- No previous AWS experience is required. Training will be provided.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, reports, and documents.
- Enjoy to learn about cloud transformation technology
- Able to coordinate with different internal teams and external stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Interest in cloud technology, partnerships, business development, or project coordination.
- Basic understanding of AWS or other cloud platforms is an advantage.
- Experience from internships, university projects, or student organizations involving coordination and documentation is helpful.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification is an advantage but not required.
