Backend Engineer will play an integral part in design, planning, and developing highly scalable, reliable, maintainable, and fault-tolerant financial internal system and reporting.
- Key Responsibilities
- Practicing high ownership and independence in their work.
- Design & build highly scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant APIs using microservices architecture based on solid principle and clean code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Refactor and enhance existing codebases for improved performance and maintainability.
- Maintain well-structured documentation to support system development and usage
- Work on bug fixing, benchmarking, and improving system performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to enhance system scalability, reliability, maintainability, and fault-tolerance.
Requirements
- Min. 3-4 years as backend engineer
- Working experience using Golang
- Experience with various database technologies, both relational and non-relation, such as MySQL and MongoDB.
- Working experience with microservices architecture.
- Good understanding of event-driven architecture (e.g. message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ).
- Strong understanding of OOP
- Proficient knowledge of linux syntax and Docker containerization technology.
- Proficient understanding of change management tools, such as Git.
- Nice to Haves
- Mandarin proficiency
- Good understanding of Domain-Driven Design.
