About the role
- Kanary Bakery is seeking a skilled

- to join our team in Bali. This is a

As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods that delight our customers and uphold the reputation of our brand. - Key responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes and quality standards
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients using both manual and mechanical equipment to ensure consistency and quality
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve optimal results and prevent under or over-baking
- Prepare dough, fillings, and other components in advance to maintain efficient workflow and meet daily production targets
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the bakery, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices in all baking operations
- Decorate and finish baked products according to specifications and customer requirements
- Collaborate with other team members to meet daily production schedules and customer orders
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report stock requirements to management
- Assist in training and mentoring junior bakers as needed
- What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar baking role within a professional bakery or food production environment
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment, including ovens, mixers, and other specialised bakery tools
- Demonstrated ability to follow recipes precisely whilst maintaining consistent quality across all products
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing visually appealing and delicious baked goods
- Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demanding nature of bakery work, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items
- Strong time management and organisational skills to meet production deadlines
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitary workplace
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Flexibility and adaptability, with willingness to learn new baking methods and products
- Experience with specialty baking (artisan breads, pastries, or cakes) is highly desirable
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in baking or food preparation are advantageous
