Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages in accordance with the restaurant’s standards and service procedures.
• Develop a good understanding of the restaurant’s menu, ingredients, flavours, and cooking techniques to support beverage pairing.
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen and service team to ensure beverages complement the overall dining experience.
• Present and explain beverage pairings to guests in a clear and engaging manner.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, non-alcoholic beverages, and other relevant beverage categories.
• Assist in maintaining beverage quality, consistency, and presentation throughout service.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and proper stock levels of the bar and beverage area.
• Support the team during service and contribute to a smooth and professional guest experience.
• Stay updated on beverage trends, ingredients, techniques, and pairing concepts.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Bartender, Mixologist, Beverage Specialist, or similar role.
• Strong interest and knowledge in beverages and food pairing.
• Good understanding of flavour profiles and the ability to identify complementary beverage combinations.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Comfortable explaining beverages and pairing recommendations to guests.
• Passionate about hospitality, food, and beverage.
• Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good command of English.
• Fine dining or high-end restaurant experience is a plus.
• Experience with beverage pairing, tasting menus, or wine service is highly desirable.
