Build and maintain Venambak's carbon calculation workbook for mangrove and seagrass — aligned with Verra VM0033 and national standards (SRN PPI / KLHK) — with documented allometric equations, emission factors, assumptions, and version history.
Design and document field sampling protocols: plot layout, tree measurement, sediment sampling, and survival rate monitoring.
Validate incoming field records for completeness and consistency, and integrate them (GPS points, photos, survey forms) into the spatial database.
Maintain the spatial database for project sites: pond boundaries, mangrove extent, planting blocks, and site infrastructure.
Conduct satellite image processing for land cover classification, vegetation condition, and change detection, with reproducible workflows in QGIS, Google Earth Engine and/or Python.
Cross-check every calculation and spatial output against project documentation, and flag any figure that cannot be traced to a verifiable source.
Prepare technical notes and methodology summaries for internal review, grant reporting, and the Digital MRV dashboard.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Forest Engineering (Rekayasa Kehutanan), Forestry, Geodesy/Geomatics, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Understanding of forest carbon accounting: biomass estimation, carbon stock vs. annual sequestration, and baseline concepts.
Proficient in QGIS or ArcGIS; working knowledge of Google Earth Engine. Basic Python for geospatial analysis (geopandas, rasterio, or equivalent) is a plus.
