About the role
You'll own our product portfolio, deciding what we sell, how we develop and price it, and how we launch it, and lead our product team in China to make it happen. You'll also drive our growth beyond Indonesia by finding the right Southeast Asian markets and partners for our brands.
- Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage our product team in China. Set priorities, review progress and make sure quality, cost and timelines are met.
Track trends and competitors across Indonesia and Southeast Asia, and watch China for what's coming next. Turn this into a clear product roadmap.
- Write product briefs, guide sourcing and sampling with the China team, and approve final products before production.
- Own the portfolio across our own and distributed brands. Review SKU performance and margins, and decide what to grow, fix or discontinue.
- Manage costing and pricing across General Trade, Modern Trade and e-commerce, so that every channel stays profitable.
- Work with the Branding team on packaging and launch materials, and with Sales and Operations on launches and stock planning.
- Research Southeast Asian markets and recommend which countries to enter and in what order.
- Find, evaluate and negotiate with distributors and partners in target markets, and build the entry plan for each.
- Identify new product, category and brand opportunities for the portfolio.
- About you
- 5–8 years in product, category, brand management or business development at an FMCG or consumer goods company, including team leadership.
- Hands-on experience developing products with manufacturers, ideally in China.
- Experience with Southeast Asian markets or entering a new country is a strong plus.
- Mom & baby, personal care or household experience is a plus.
- A strong eye for trends and an understanding of what sells in Indonesia and the region.
- Strong with numbers: costing, margin models and business cases in Excel.
- Understands Indonesian retail, including general trade, distributors, modern trade and marketplaces.
