Deskripsi pekerjaan Business Development Specialist Creative Journal
Creative Journal is a Jakarta creative agency building brands, content, social media and video for F&B, lifestyle, wellness and event brands.
We're looking for someone who can open doors. You'll find new clients, pitch with our partners, and help shape where Creative Journal grows next. Reporting to our Business Director, you'll be the engine of our new business, and you'll share directly in the wins you bring in.
- What you'll do
- Build and run our new business pipeline: find leads, start conversations, book meetings.
- Pitch alongside our Creative Director and Business Director; own the follow-up until the deal closes.
- Draft proposals, quotes and credentials decks with the team.
- Grow our network across brands, F&B, hospitality, events and the wider creative scene.
- Spot upsell opportunities within existing clients.
- Help develop the agency itself: new service packages, partnerships, pricing ideas and how we show up in the market.
- Hand new clients over smoothly to our strategy and production team.
- Who you are
- You've sat on either side of the table: at a creative, digital or media agency, or on the brand side as the person who briefed and managed agencies. Either way, you know how good creative work gets sold and bought.
- You bring a network you can actually activate, in brands, F&B, lifestyle, events or the creative industry.
- You have sharp business sense and creative taste in equal measure: you can talk budgets with a CMO and big ideas with a designer.
- You're a self-starter who sees a gap and goes after it, without waiting for a brief.
- You write and present well in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- 2+ years in agency client service, business development, brand marketing or partnerships.
- Nice to have
- A track record of bringing in clients or partnerships, with numbers you can talk through.
- Experience pricing creative work: retainers, project fees or credit-based packages.
- Comfort with social media and content marketing as a service.
