On behalf of client, they power a more prosperous world through innovation, collaboration, and inclusion. They partner with customers, distributors, dealers, and OEMs to deliver reliable power solutions and exceptional aftermarket support across Indonesia and the broader APAC region.
The Channel Engagement Manager is responsible for driving dealer development, distributor engagement, channel readiness, and aftermarket growth across Clients' authorized distributor and dealer network in Indonesia. The role focuses on strengthening partner capabilities, enhancing Dealer Affiliation Program (DAP) adoption, improving aftermarket parts and service performance, and ensuring dealers are equipped to deliver consistent customer experiences aligned with client's standards.
This is a full-time position supporting Client. Please note that employment for this role will be facilitated through an authorized third-party employment provider, in accordance with local employment requirements and business practices in Indonesia.
Working closely with distributors, OEM partners, and dealer networks, the successful candidate will support channel strategy execution across key Indonesian industries including heavy equipment, mining, construction, transportation, power generation, marine, and industrial sectors. The role serves as a critical link between internal business teams and external channel partners to drive network effectiveness, business growth, and long-term customer success.
- Key Responsibilities
- Lead dealer development and distributor engagement initiatives to improve channel readiness, capability, and performance across Indonesia.
- Drive execution and continuous improvement of the Dealer Affiliation Program (DAP) and related channel development programs.
- Manage dealer and distributor onboarding, readiness reviews, capability assessments, and ongoing performance monitoring.
- Support growth of the aftermarket parts and service business through enhanced dealer engagement, customer support capability, and service excellence initiatives.
- Monitor dealer network performance, establish improvement plans, and track key business and operational KPIs.
- Partner with distributors, dealers, and OEM stakeholders to strengthen market coverage, customer support, and service delivery.
- Coordinate capability-building initiatives including technical, commercial, and operational training programs.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to address channel challenges and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Promote compliance with Client's operational standards, customer experience expectations, and brand requirements.
- Identify opportunities to enhance dealer network effectiveness, increase customer satisfaction, and accelerate aftermarket growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 8-12 years of experience in channel management, dealer development, distributor management, aftermarket parts and service, customer support, business development, partner management, or industrial marketing.
- Experience working with dealer networks, distributors, or OEM partners within industrial sectors.
- Prior exposure to heavy equipment, mining equipment, construction machinery, power generation, commercial vehicles, automotive, marine, agriculture equipment, or off-highway industries is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the Indonesian dealer and distributor ecosystem, aftermarket business models, and channel operations.
- Experience influencing multiple stakeholders across distributor organizations, dealer networks, OEMs, and internal business functions.
- Fluent English communication skills; Bahasa Indonesia proficiency is strongly preferred.
