Job description for Chief Accountant / Finance Manager at Công ty TNHH Shelby Global
Location
- : Tam Thang Industrial Park, Quang Nam, Vietnam
- Role Overview
Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, manufacturing costing, tax compliance, and internal controls. Work closely with the CFO and operational teams to ensure reliable reporting, strengthen inventory controls, and support business decisions.
- Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounting operations, financial closing, and statutory reporting.
- Oversee manufacturing costing, inventory valuation, work-in-progress (WIP), and subcontractor reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with Vietnamese tax, customs, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain internal controls, identify financial risks, and improve finance processes.
- Prepare management reports and financial analysis.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and coordinate with operational departments.
- Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or a related discipline, and/or a Vietnamese CPA qualification.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in auditing, accounting, or financial reporting.
- Experience in audit management, financial closing, tax compliance, and internal controls.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing costing, inventory valuation, WIP, and subcontractor reconciliation.
- Experience leading and developing an accounting team.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
- Good English proficiency; IELTS 7.0 or equivalent is desirable.
- Strong analytical, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills; high integrity and attention to detail.
