EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5 years in hotel/resort/villa engineering or maintenance
• At least 2 years in a supervisory/leadership position
• Experience managing villa/resort properties is a strong advantage
• Experience with pool, electrical, plumbing, AC, pumps, water systems and building maintenance
• Hospitality background preferred over purely construction/industrial engineering

TECHNICAL COMPETENCY

• Electrical systems — PLN, MCB, DB, wiring, generator/backup systems
• ⁠AC systems — split AC, VRV/VRF if applicable
• ⁠Plumbing — water pressure, pumps, hot water, leaks, drainage
• ⁠Pool equipment — pumps, filters, chlorination
• ⁠Water systems — water tanks, booster pumps, filtration
• ⁠Kitchen/LPG systems and basic safety
• ⁠Villa/building defects — waterproofing, doors, windows, roofs, tiles, ceilings
• ⁠Pumps, motors and mechanical equipment
• ⁠Fire & life-safety equipment
• ⁠Preventive maintenance systems & schedule
• ⁠Engineering daily log
• ⁠Equipment register
• Asset list
• Breakdown report
• Work-order system
• Spare-part inventory
• Monthly engineering report
• Utility consumption report

LEADERSHIP

• Lead engineering/maintenance staff
• Create daily, weekly and monthly PM schedules
• Assign jobs and follow up completion
• Keep engineering logbooks
• Control spare-part inventory
• Manage outside contractors
• Obtain quotations and compare vendors
• Monitor engineering expenses
• Report major problems to management
• Train junior technicians
• Respond to emergencies quickly
