About the role

• Selong Selo Resort & Villa is seeking an experienced and strategic
• Chief Security

to lead our comprehensive security operations. Reporting directly to senior management, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of security across our resort and residential properties in Central Lombok. This is a full-time position based on-site at our property in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. As Chief Security, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our guests, residents, staff and assets whilst maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and service excellence.

• Key responsibilities
• Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive security policies, procedures and protocols for all resort and residential areas
• Oversee the recruitment, training, scheduling and performance management of the security team
• Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures
• Manage access control systems, CCTV monitoring and other security technology infrastructure
• Respond to and investigate security incidents, accidents and emergency situations in a professional manner

Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services to maintain strong community relationships and support coordinated response protocols

• Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations, legal requirements and industry best practices
• Prepare and present detailed security reports to senior management and stakeholders
• Coordinate security arrangements for special events, VIP guests and high-profile occasions
• Manage security budgets and procurement of equipment, uniforms and technology systems
• Conduct staff training on security awareness, emergency procedures and guest safety protocols
• Maintain detailed records of security incidents, investigations and corrective actions
• What we're looking for
• Minimum 5+ years of professional security management experience, preferably in hospitality, resort or luxury property environments
• Proven track record of leading and managing large security teams effectively
• Strong knowledge of security systems, access control technologies and CCTV management
• Excellent incident response and crisis management capabilities with a calm, professional demeanour
• Demonstrated understanding of local Indonesian regulations, employment laws and security requirements
• Outstanding leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
• Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments including management, operations and front-of-house teams
• Proficiency in English and Indonesian languages (additional languages an advantage)
• Relevant security certifications or qualifications (such as international security management certifications) highly desirable
• Experience with risk assessment methodologies and emergency response planning
