- is looking for an experienced
- Cloudera Administrator
- to join our team and be placed at one of our banking clients in Central Jakarta.
Job Responsibilities
Manage and deploy Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) infrastructure following industry best practices, including: Cloudera Manager, Cloudera Management Service, HDFS, Hive, Impala, Hue, Oozie, Ranger, ZooKeeper, Knox, Kafka, HBase, Spark, YARN
- Manage and deploy Cloudera Data Services, including Cloudera Machine Learning (formerly Cloudera Data Science Workbench).
- Perform daily monitoring of Cloudera Data Platform clusters, Linux OS parameters, and infrastructure alerts.
- Conduct Linux OS tuning and optimization for Cloudera Data Platform environments.
- Review and implement security hardening for Linux OS and Cloudera Data Platform.
- Manage backup, restore, and data replication using Hive BDR.
- Support testing activities, including Disaster Recovery (DR) drills, with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide recommendations for query and job performance tuning across Spark (Java, Scala, PySpark), Impala, and Hive.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide operational support as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) and Cloudera Data Services.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with Linux Operating Systems, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and SystemD.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Willing to work in the banking industry.
