About the role

Manufacturing Engineer role in precision CNC machining, reporting to Senior Manufacturing Engineer / Engineering Manager. The role focuses on Swiss-type CNC auto lathe programming and mass production processes for precision shaft components and medical parts manufacturing in Singapore.

• Key responsibilities
• Create, verify & optimize Esprit / Camworks programs for Swiss-type components
• Perform machine setup, parameter tuning & first-article inspection
• Participate in DFM reviews; advise on design optimization for manufacturability, cost & yield
• Create & maintain product BOMs and manufacturing Routings in BC (Business Center) / ERP system
• Resolve production issues: dimension drift, surface finish, tool wear & cycle time
• Support FMEA, Control Plan updates & SPC monitoring
• Maintain process records, FAIRs & SOPs; support NPI & continuous improvement
• About you
• Min. 2 years hands-on experience in Swiss-type CNC auto lathe programming & mass production processes
• Strong proficiency in Esprit & Camworks for multi-axis programming & post-processing (preferred)
• 1+ year experience in CAM or 5-axis milling (highly preferred)
• Practical experience in DFM (Design for Manufacturing); familiar with FMEA, Control Plan & SPC
• Experience in creating BOM & manufacturing Routing via BC (Business Center) / ERP system (preferred)
• Solid knowledge of turn-mill operations, tooling selection, parameter tuning & troubleshooting for Swiss-type machines
• Able to read technical drawings & GD&T
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering; Advanced Machining / Milling Technology Diploma is also acceptable
• Familiar with common engineering materials & cutting tools
• Self-motivated, willing to learn new software, processes & systems
