About the role
- Nui Da Mano is seeking a
- Commis 1
- to join our dynamic kitchen team in Badung, Bali. This is a
- full-time position
that offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills in a fast-paced, beachfront hospitality environment. As a Commis 1, you will work under the guidance of senior chefs, supporting the preparation and execution of high-quality dishes whilst learning essential cooking techniques and kitchen operations. This role is fundamental to maintaining the efficiency and excellence of our kitchen, contributing directly to the exceptional dining experiences we provide to our guests.
- Key responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking food items according to standardised recipes and culinary standards
- Assisting with the preparation of vegetables, proteins, and other ingredients under supervision
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in your assigned station and throughout the kitchen
- Supporting senior chefs with the execution of daily service, including plating and presentation
- What we're looking for
- Culinary qualification, vocational training, or equivalent practical experience in a professional kitchen
- Strong foundational knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Excellent attention to detail and dedication to food hygiene and safety compliance
