About the role
This role involves community engagement and sports activation at Discovery Mall Bali, positioning the mall as a leading lifestyle, sports, and wellness destination. You will identify and establish strategic partnerships with local and national sports and wellness communities, serve as the primary brand ambassador, and drive foot traffic through events and community activities.
Key responsibilities
Identify, approach, and establish strategic partnerships with local and national sports and wellness communities, including running, cycling, yoga, surfing, fitness, CrossFit, and other lifestyle-related groups
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, sports clubs, wellness practitioners, and relevant organizations
- Develop, plan, schedule, organize, and execute sports events, regular community workouts, and wellness activation programs
- Prepare and maintain an event calendar to ensure consistent and well-coordinated community activities
- Drive weekday and weekend foot traffic through community gatherings, sports activities, and lifestyle events
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth event preparation and execution
- Monitor event performance, attendance, and community participation to evaluate effectiveness in generating mall traffic and engagement
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Leasing teams to develop partnership proposals, brand activations, and sponsorship opportunities
- Identify opportunities to connect sports and wellness communities with prospective tenants and lifestyle brands
- Prepare event proposals, schedules, activity plans, correspondence, and supporting documents
- About you
- Energetic, proactive, outgoing, and passionate about sports and wellness activities
- Actively involved in sports communities in Bali, with a strong network and established relationships with community members and leaders
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to plan event schedules and coordinate across departments
- Well-organized and detail-oriented, with good administrative, documentation, and reporting skills
- Experience in organizing sports events, community activities, or wellness programs is an advantage
- Creative, collaborative, and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Willing to be based in Bali
