Compliance Supervisor

Job Description

Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of compliance programmes to ensure all business activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies in electric vehicle battery industry and industrial park business.

Monitor regulatory developments related to industrial project constructions, industrial park development and operation, environmental regulations, ESG standards, and industrial manufacturing, and assist in updating internal policies accordingly.

Conduct periodic compliance monitoring, reviews, and internal assessments to identify potential compliance risks within operational and corporate functions.

Provide guidance to internal departments on regulatory compliance matters, including environmental, operational, and corporate governance requirements.

Assist in investigating potential compliance violations or ethical concerns, ensuring proper documentation and escalation to management.

Prepare periodic compliance reports and dashboards for management, highlighting compliance risks, regulatory updates, and monitoring results.

Coordinate compliance audits, regulatory inspections, and internal reviews involving operational sites.

Support the development and delivery of compliance awareness programmes and training related to regulatory obligations, ethics, and responsible business practices.

Liaise with internal teams such as legal, sustainability, HSE, procurement, and operations to ensure compliance requirements are integrated into business processes.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks.

Support the formulation and administration of the Compliance Management System, including the development of relevant policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in line with the organisation’s management system and annual KPIs

Requirement

Bachelor or Master degree in Law or other disciplines relevant to compliance functions.

Minimum 5–7 years of experience in compliance, legal, audit, or governance roles, preferably in manufacturing, project construction in industrial sectors.

• Experience working in State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) or companies with government-related stakeholders would be an advantage.
• Experience in compliance functions within industrial park developments or smelter operations and licensing would be an advantage.

Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks related to project construction in industrial and/or industrial park sectors, environmental protection, ESG, and corporate governance.

• Experience conducting compliance monitoring, internal reviews, or regulatory audits.
• Experience in handling regulatory disputes, litigation processes, or court cases related to compliance matters would be highly advantageous.
• Good analytical skills with the ability to assess compliance risks and propose practical mitigation measures.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into internal procedures and operational guidelines.
• High level of integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
• Strong organisational and project coordination skills.

Familiarity with ESG reporting tools or compliance management systems including the development of relevant policies, procedures, and SOPs is an advantage as well as

Familiarity with the organisation of compliance training and awareness programmes in alignment with the company’s management system and annual KPIs.
