- Write and produce carousel content, with a focus on Japan related topics
- Research and source news from Japanese international and national portals as content references
- Translate or adapt Japanese news content
- Revise and refine content based on team feedback to ensure the best final result
- Edit and organize carousel content in Canva based on provided templates
- Stay updated on current trends and issues in Japan
- Process urgent carousel content on the same day when assigned (if needed)
- College student or Bachelor's degree in any major (preferably Japanese Literature, Journalism, Communications, or related fields)
- Experience as a content writer or copywriter (preferably in a related industry)
- Able to speak Japanese is a strong plus
- If unable to speak Japanese, must be comfortable using AI tools for translation and research
- Strong knowledge of Japanese culture, trends, and language is a plus
- Creative with strong sense of taste and content judgment
- Familiar with Canva or similar content editing tools
- Excellent communication skills, fast response time, and proactive
- Willing to work flexibly when urgent content requires same day turnaround
