Content Writer

Job Responsibilities

Content Creation & Storytelling: Write, proofread, and edit high-quality articles, blog posts, news, and marketing copy for publications and social media.

Platform Management: Monitor, update, and manage content across all media platforms (SCN, website, social media, and SUN mobile apps) using Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress.

Research & Ideation: Conduct thorough topic research, develop interview questions for resource persons, and generate fresh ideas for new content formats.

SEO & Optimization: Perform basic keyword research and apply SEO guidelines to increase web traffic and identify content gaps.

Collaboration & Branding: Adapt content from partner institutions and collaborate with marketing and design teams to ensure visual and brand consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone).

Requirements

• Education: BSc/Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalistic, English, Communication, or a related field.
• Experience: * 1–2 years of experience in marketing and branding.
• Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent writing, editing, and research skills using multiple sources.
• Familiarity with web publications and CMS (e.g., WordPress).
• Basic knowledge of SEO best practices and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in English is a major plus / preferred.
• Portfolio: Providing a portfolio of published articles is a strong plus (optional).
