• to join our dynamic kitchen team in Bali. This is a
• full-time position

based in our Bali location, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests. As a Cook / Commis, you will support our kitchen operations whilst developing your culinary skills under the guidance of experienced chefs. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of food preparation and presentation that define The Naked Tiger's reputation.

• What you'll be doing
• Preparing and cooking food items according to established recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of your workstation and kitchen equipment
• Assisting senior chefs with food preparation, including chopping, marinating and cooking tasks
• Monitoring cooking times and temperatures to ensure food quality and safety standards
• Supporting the mise en place process to ensure all ingredients and tools are prepared before service
• Following food health and safety regulations and maintaining high hygiene standards at all times
• Contributing to inventory management and reporting on stock levels as required
• Collaborating with kitchen team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods
• Learning new cooking techniques and culinary skills from experienced mentors
• Assisting with kitchen maintenance and cleaning duties
• What we're looking for
• A recognised culinary qualification or equivalent practical experience as a Cook or Commis Chef
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods and kitchen safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to food quality and presentation
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service times
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
• A passion for hospitality and delivering excellent culinary experiences
• Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment is highly desirable
• Knowledge of international cuisines or willingness to learn new culinary styles is advantageous
