About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook Helper to join our talented team at The Blaze Restaurant. As a Cook and CookHelper, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations and contributing to the delivery of exceptional dining experiences for our customers. This is a full-time position based in Bali.
- What you'll be doing
- Assist the chef and line cooks in food preparation, including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organised work station, ensuring all equipment and tools are properly cleaned and stored
- Help with the plating and presentation of dishes to meet the high standards of the establishment
- Restock and replenish ingredients and supplies as needed
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure the kitchen operates in a safe and compliant manner
- Collaborate with the wider kitchen team to ensure efficient and seamless food service
- What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Cook Helper or similar role in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Good manual dexterity and the physical stamina to stand for extended periods
- A keen interest in food and a willingness to learn and develop new culinary skills
- A team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations
