Country Financial Manager (KLI-67)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain highly accurate financial records and general ledger entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform comprehensive account reconciliations (including bank, cash, receivables, and payables).
• Monitor cash flow and financial performance while assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure strict compliance with local accounting standards and regional tax regulations.
• Prepare and file necessary tax returns (e.g., VAT/GST, corporate income tax, withholding tax).
• Support internal/external audits by preparing documentation and directly liaising with external auditors.
• Stay updated on regulatory and tax law updates affecting the business.
• Process vendor invoices, outgoing payments, and employee expense reports accurately and on time.
• Monitor accounts receivable and proactively follow up on outstanding payments.
• Maintain and optimize proper corporate billing and collections processes.
• Maintain, review, and improve internal controls and corporate accounting procedures.
• Identify bottlenecks to streamline financial workflows and maximize efficiency.
• Support the implementation, migration, or optimization of accounting software and systems.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum of
• 5+ years
• of professional accounting experience.

Accounting Standards

Strong working knowledge of established accounting principles (e.g.,

IFRS, GAAP

).

Advanced Excel Skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (must be highly comfortable with pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and deep data analysis).

Software Familiarity

• Practical experience with modern cloud accounting software or ERP systems (e.g.,
• QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, NetSuite
