Job Description

Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines to integrate data from various source systems into the Data Warehouse.

Design and implement data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading processes from databases, APIs, flat files, logs, and third-party platforms.

Develop and maintain data models, reporting datasets, fact tables, dimension tables, and data marts to support operational reporting and analytics.

Collaborate with business and application teams to translate reporting requirements, KPIs, and business rules into data logic and technical solutions.

Perform data quality checks, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure data accuracy, completeness, reliability, and timely reporting.

Support daily operational reports related to sales, orders, customers, campaigns, loyalty, inventory, fulfillment, SLA, and operational KPIs.

Monitor production data pipelines, resolve data/reporting issues, and maintain technical documentation, source-to-target mappings, data lineage, and transformation logic.

• Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Reporting Engineering, ETL development, Data Warehousing, BI Data Preparation, or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including joins, aggregations, window functions, query optimization, and stored procedures.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT development, Data Warehouse/Data Mart, and data pipeline orchestration or scheduling tools.
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or similar.
• Good understanding of data modeling, including fact tables, dimension tables, star schema, snowflake schema, and reporting layers.
• Basic scripting skills using Python, Shell, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Metabase, or similar.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in data quality, reconciliation, reporting discrepancies, and source-system inconsistencies.

• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with business users, application teams, and database teams.
• Experience supporting production data pipelines and operational reporting environments.
• Preferred: Experience with eCommerce, Retail, CRM, Loyalty, Campaign Management, OMS, or Customer Data Platforms.
• Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms such as Alibaba Cloud, AWS, or GCP and modern data tools such as Airflow, Spark, Kafka, or Flink.
