About the Role

In this role you will be responsible for creating pattern marker for development cutting and make costing marker to achieve most efficient and cost saving fabric consumption for production. You will work closely with pattern team and sample room manager, as well as development team. As needed, you will support in pattern making development patterns and pattern alterations/grading for production.

To ensure success as a Pattern Maker, you should have extensive experience with pattern design, fine motor skills and a good eye for detail. A top-class Pattern Maker perfectly translates the ideas of the designer into a reliable and repeatable pattern that can be sent to the manufacturer.

If successful in fulfilling duties during probation period, we see potential for this role to become a mid-level manager who will assist Head of Pattern Making to manage workflow and output of team.

Key Responsibilities

• Membantu Tukang pattern untuk merevisi pattern sesuai comment fitting sample dengan tanda tik di koment tersebut.
• Helping the pattern maker to revise the pattern according to the comment fitting sample with marks in the comment.
• Plotting marker dan menyertakan list order untuk menghindari kesalahan dalam pemotongan.
• Plotting marker including an order list to avoid errors in cutting process.
• Membantu Tukang pattern untuk melakukan grading pattern.
• Helping pattern maker to do grading pattern.
• Mengikuti Standar Keselamatan Kerja yang di tetapkan oleh Perusahaan.
• Comply with the Company's established Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards.

Membuat pola prototipe berdasarkan gambar desain, sketsa, atau sampel referensi (vintage sample) dengan menggunakan digitizer atau peralatan lain yang berkaitan dengan pembuatan pola.

Create prototype pattern from drawings, sketches, or vintage samples, using digitizer, or other instruments that relate to pattern making.

Mengembangkan pola dasar (basic pattern) dan pola model (model pattern), serta menyusun pola yang inovatif secara teknis bekerja sama dengan Designer berdasarkan kebutuhan pasar.

Develop basic and model patterns, drive the pattern creation of fully technically innovative basic and fit model patterns in cooperation with Designer based on market requirements.

Secara mandiri mengembangkan pola dasar dan pola model yang memiliki tingkat kesulitan tinggi serta memerlukan ketelitian dalam aspek teknis dan fitting, sesuai dengan kebutuhan pasar.

Works independently drives the pattern creation of fully technically innovative basic and fit critical model patterns based on market requirements.

Menyiapkan pola sampel awal (original sample pattern) serta melakukan revisi pola untuk kebutuhan produksi massal melalui proses fitting produksi.

• Prepare original sample patterns and changes for mass production needs through the production fitting process
• Memberikan arahan kepada penjahit mengenai metode konstruksi atau teknik jahit yang paling tepat.
• Offer advice to the sewer for best methods of construction.
• Mengidentifikasi dan menyelesaikan permasalahan konstruksi bersama tim serta memberikan solusi yang efektif.
• Problem solve construction issues with team and offer solutions.

Menyusun spesifikasi teknis (spec) dan deskripsi produk yang jelas, serta memberikan panduan kepada penjahit agar hasil prototipe sesuai dengan sketsa atau gambar desain.

Create clear specs and descriptions and guide sewers to reflect on the results of the prototype that match, appearance with sketches or drawings.

• Menganalisis dan melakukan grading pola secara lengkap berdasarkan pola ukuran sampel sesuai spesifikasi.
• Analyse and grade full sets of patterns from sample size pattern as specs.
• Membuat dan mengelola arsip pola digital (shared pattern files) di komputer untuk setiap musim/collection.
• Create filing share pattern in computer for each season.

Apabila diperlukan, berpartisipasi dalam sesi fitting untuk koleksi musim berikutnya guna memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai revisi atau penyempurnaan garment.

• When required, participate in fitting meetings upcoming season for better understanding on the revise garment.
• Mengikuti arahan dari atasan.
• Follow directions from superior.
