(Specialist Doctor in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) to join PT SINO INDONESIA TCM COOPERATION CENTRE in South Jakarta, Jakarta. This is a

full-time position

that plays a crucial role in our healthcare delivery and patient care services. As a medical specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with musculoskeletal disorders, neurological conditions, and other disabilities requiring rehabilitation services. This position is integral to our mission of providing comprehensive and high-quality rehabilitative care to our patients, combining traditional Chinese medicine principles with modern rehabilitation techniques.

Key responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations of patients presenting with physical disabilities, injuries, and musculoskeletal or neurological conditions

• Develop and implement individualised rehabilitation treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and medical conditions
• Perform therapeutic interventions including physical therapy assessments, exercise prescription, and manual therapy techniques
• Manage pain conditions through various rehabilitation modalities and therapeutic approaches

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to achieve optimal functional outcomes
• Provide patient education and counselling regarding rehabilitation exercises, lifestyle modifications, and injury prevention strategies
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations and institutional standards
• Participate in clinical rounds, case discussions, and professional development activities
• Ensure compliance with medical ethics, patient safety protocols, and relevant healthcare regulations
• What we're looking for

Valid medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialisation qualification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from an accredited institution

• Active medical license and registration with relevant Indonesian medical regulatory bodies
• Minimum 2-3 years of clinical experience in physical medicine and rehabilitation or related field
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, therapeutic modalities, and evidence-based rehabilitation practices
• Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with the ability to formulate comprehensive treatment plans
• Proficiency in Indonesian language; English language skills are advantageous
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous professional development
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment that integrates traditional Chinese medicine with modern rehabilitation practices
• Physical capability to perform clinical duties and patient interventions as required by the role
