to join our team on a part-time basis in Jakarta. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a vital role in the design, development, and optimisation of electrical systems and components that drive our technological solutions forward. What you'll be doing

• Designing and developing electrical systems, circuits, and components for various engineering projects
• Conducting thorough testing and analysis of electrical equipment and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical solutions into broader project initiatives
• Preparing detailed technical drawings, schematics, and documentation for electrical designs
• Troubleshooting electrical faults and implementing corrective solutions to resolve technical issues
• Supporting the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems
• Staying current with emerging technologies and industry best practices in electrical engineering
• Contributing to project planning and providing technical expertise to meet project timelines and budgets

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline

Primary Programming Languages

Strong proficiency in C and C++ for microcontrollers (ARM Cortex‑M, ESP32, STM32, AVR, etc.)

Communication Protocols

In‑depth understanding of serial communication protocols including I2C, SPI, UART, CAN Bus, USB, as well as BLE/Wi‑Fi

Manufacturing Optimization

Familiarity with PCB fabrication constraints, such as minimum trace width, clearance, surface‑finish types (HASL, ENIG), and panelization

Component & Obsolescence Management

Ability to select components with long lifecycles (not prone to being discontinued), with second‑source availability, and easy market accessibility

EMC/EMI (Electromagnetic Compatibility & Interference)

Skilled in designing PCB layouts and enclosures to minimize electromagnetic emissions and withstand external interference

Safety & Environmental Standards

Familiarity with standards such as CE, FCC, RoHS, UL, or ISO depending on the product’s target market

Mechanical Engineering

Coordination with mechanical teams to ensure PCB form‑factor matches the enclosure, thermal management (heat dissipation), and connector placement

Technical Documentation

Capable of producing schematic diagrams, accurate Bills of Materials (BOM), Gerber/ODB++ files, and test procedures for production line testing (jig testing)
