Uraian Tugas

New Installations

Install new electrical wiring, panels, outlets, dock power pedestals, lighting fixtures, distribution boards, and other equipment as required.

• Lay out cables and wire runs, mount electrical fittings, ensure connections are secure and compliant with specifications.
• Routine Maintenance & Inspections
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems: panels, circuit breakers, outlets, sockets, switches, connections, grounding system.

Clean, tighten, and maintain electrical components to prevent corrosion, water ingress, or deterioration, especially in marine environment (salt, humidity).

Troubleshooting & Repair

Identify electrical faults (e.g. power outages, voltage fluctuation, short circuits, faulty lighting or pedestal connections) using diagnostic tools (multimeter, voltage testers, etc.).

• Repair or replace defective components, restore proper operation, test after repair.
• Safety & Compliance
• Follow safety procedures and regulations (including applicable electrical safety standards, safety gear, isolation procedures).
• Ensure installations comply with local electrical codes / regulations.
• Maintain safe working environment, especially around water, damp areas, and dock power pedestals.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain detailed logs of maintenance, repairs, component replacements, test results, and inspections.
• Report regularly to Technical Supervisor: status of systems, outstanding faults, potential improvements or upgrades, material needs.
• Preventive Improvements
• Suggest improvements or upgrades to existing electrical installations for better efficiency, safety, durability.
• Monitor performance of systems and anticipate issues before failure.
• Syarat & Kualifikasi

Minimum education: Vocational High School (SMK) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; Diploma (D3) in Electrical Engineering is an advantage.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair (industrial, building, or public facility settings).
• Basic English proficiency,
• especially in understanding technical instructions, equipment manuals, and simple work communication.
• Proficient in electrical installation, distribution panels, grounding systems, and troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Knowledge of occupational safety standards (K3) and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when working with electrical systems.
• Detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to work independently or as part of a team, coordinating across departments.
• Willing to work in shifts, work overtime, and handle emergency repairs when required.
