About the Role
- Mahatma Gandhi School is seeking a passionate, creative, and dedicated
- English Teacher
to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging English lessons, fostering students' language proficiency, and creating a positive learning environment that supports academic excellence and holistic development.
- Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assessments, and reports.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into classroom instruction.
- Participate in school events, meetings, professional development programs, and extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum planning and student achievement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in English Education, English Literature, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience (experience in an international school is an advantage).
- Familiarity with international curricula (Cambridge, IB, or similar) is preferred.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passionate about teaching and committed to continuous professional development.
- Able to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
- Available to join immediately (ASAP) is highly preferred.
