An English Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating English language lessons to help students develop their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. The teacher creates a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to actively use English in academic and real-life contexts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective English lessons based on the curriculum and students’ learning needs
• Teach English skills including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking
• Prepare learning materials, activities, and assessments
• Evaluate students’ progress through tests, assignments, and classroom performance
• Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their language skills
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a supportive learning atmosphere
• Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and proficiency levels
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and school activities as required
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English Education, English Literature, Linguistics, or a related field
• Proven proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• Teaching experience is preferred (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and creatively
• Good classroom management skills
• Familiarity with teaching methodologies and learning technologies
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching
• Relevant certifications (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent) are an advantage
