English Teacher

About the role

You'll focus on developing spoken fluency and confidence in adult learners at a range of English levels, run the centre's English Club, and work alongside the team to help build programs that attract adult students. Over time, as the centre grows, this role will grow too — including into programs for working professionals — with training and support to help you get there.

• Key responsibilities
• Plan and deliver lessons focused on fluency, confidence, and real-world communication skills
• Run the centre's English Club, creating a welcoming space to practise outside the classroom
• Work with the team to help build and refine programs that attract adult students
• Use teaching tools and technology, including IMMERSE VR, within a supported, teacher-led model
• Adapt your approach to learners' goals and schedules, and share ideas as the centre grows
• About you
• Experience teaching English to adults, ideally with a focus on speaking fluency
• A genuine passion for helping people grow — in English and in confidence
• Strong interpersonal skills and openness to technology and new teaching tools
• A collaborative mindset — happy to grow into new opportunities with support along the way
• Recognised English teaching qualification (e.g. CELTA, TESOL, TEFL) or equivalent experience
