ENGLISH TUTOR

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced English Tutor with IELTS teaching experience to join our team and support students in improving their English skills and preparing for IELTS.

• Key responsibilities
• Deliver engaging English and IELTS lessons based on students' levels and learning needs.
• Teach and develop students' skills in Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing.
• Provide IELTS-focused guidance, strategies, and practice to help students achieve their target scores.
• Prepare and adapt learning materials according to students' needs and the company's curriculum.
• Assess students' performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Monitor students' progress and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Create an interactive, supportive, and positive learning environment.
• Communicate students' progress and learning needs with the academic team.
• Participate in the development and improvement of IELTS learning materials when required.
• About you
• Proven experience teaching IELTS is required.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Good understanding of the IELTS test format, assessment criteria, and teaching strategies.
• Experience teaching IELTS preparation, particularly Speaking and Writing, is highly valued.
• Previous experience as an English or IELTS Tutor.
• Strong understanding of English grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and the four core language skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, professional, and committed to student development.
• IELTS, TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or other relevant certifications are an advantage.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
