Job Description

• Provide trade processing and settlement support for Global Markets activities in FX, Derivatives, Equity, Structured Products, and Fixed Income for HLBB.
• Provide trade processing and settlement for Interbank transaction for Forex, Money Market and Fixed Income for HLHK & Interbank transaction for Forex, Derivatives, Money Market and Fixed Income for HLSG.
• Processing of retails/corporate for FX, Derivatives, Structured Products, Money Market and Fixed Income for HLBB
• Monitor and reconcile trades in Murex against 3rd party/ independent confirmation
• Payments, settlements & provide relevant confirmation letter to counterparty
• Management/ Regulatory and operational risk compliance and reporting (monthly, half yearly and quarterly BNM reportings & Securities Commission)
• Extract and prepare of other FX reports (Daily Volume, Monthly Volume etc.)
• Compliance of policies and guidelines pertaining to the processing and settlements according to specified cut off time
• Provide audit confirmation request by counterparty
• Maintain proper record and documentation
• Participate for all related new products roll out and implementation
• Reconciliation of Nostro Accounts for treasury related items
• Reconciliation of Foreign Currency Fixed Income Holdings
• Reconciliation of Futures and Equity position
• Provide Risk Control Self Assessment (RCSA) to identify potential risks and identify control gaps in the Murex operations.

Requirements

• Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Conceptual Understanding: A foundational knowledge of financial markets and investment instruments, particularly equities and mutual funds

Skills: Strong analytical and problem- solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) is a plus

• Attributes: A highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
