About the role
We are looking for an experienced PIB (Import Declaration) & PEB (Export Declaration) Team Supervisor with strong leadership skills to lead, guide, and develop our customs operations team. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth export-import processes in compliance with applicable regulations while enhancing team effectiveness.
- Key responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate the team in handling PIB & PEB documentation
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, government policies, and internal company procedures
- Act as the main liaison with external parties (customs office, EMKL/EMKU, vendors, and related institutions)
- Evaluate team performance and provide guidance, training, and motivation to achieve targets
- Identify potential issues in export-import processes and provide effective solutions
- Prepare and submit regular reports on PIB & PEB activities to management
- About you
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Logistics, Customs, or Management
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in customs, particularly in PIB & PEB
- Strong understanding of customs regulations, procedures, and CEISA / INSW systems, Border Zone (Kawasan Berikat), MITA AEO and KITE
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead a team effectively and work with targets
- Excellent communication, assertiveness, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
- Customs certification is an advantage
