About the role

• We are seeking an
• Export Import Staff

to join PT NX LEMO INDONESIA LOGISTIK in a full-time position. Based in Sidoarjo District, East Java, this role is central to our import and export operations, ensuring the smooth facilitation of international shipments and compliance with all customs regulations. As an Export Import Staff member, you will be instrumental in managing documentation, coordinating with customs authorities, and maintaining the efficiency of our logistics operations.

• What you'll be doing
• Processing and preparing export and import documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations
• Coordinating with customs brokers and government authorities to ensure compliance with import/export regulations and tariff requirements
• Managing shipment tracking and monitoring the movement of goods through various ports and customs checkpoints
• Preparing shipping manifests and verifying accuracy of commodity descriptions and classifications
• Communicating with clients, shipping lines, and freight forwarders to provide updates on shipment status
• Maintaining organised records of all import/export transactions and documentation for audit and reference purposes
• Identifying and resolving discrepancies in shipping documents and customs paperwork
• Assisting in the preparation of customs clearance documentation and facilitating the release of goods
• Supporting the compliance of all shipments with international trade regulations and company policies
• What we're looking for
• Proven experience working in import/export, customs clearance, or a related logistics role
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures, tariff classification systems, and international trade regulations
• Proficiency in using shipping and customs documentation software and systems
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly when handling complex documentation
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills in English and Indonesian, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of Harmonised System (HS) codes and customs valuation methods
• Familiarity with Indonesian customs requirements and ASEAN trade procedures is highly desirable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Professional certification in customs procedures or international trade (advantageous)
