Field Sales Representative - Building Materials (Bali)

About the role

Field Sales Representative for PREDMET Retail, a supplier of finishing and engineering materials in Bali including sanitary ware, lighting and electrical, tiles and more. You will meet clients and partners in person across Bali to grow sales in two directions: construction projects and retail partners.

• Key responsibilities
• Develop sales in two directions: construction projects and retail partners
• Visit clients and partners across Bali
• Book meetings in advance and plan your weekly route by area
• Meet the people who decide on purchases: owners, project managers, procurement, store owners
• Find new clients and partners, and bring them to the first order

For construction projects: find out who buys materials and when; collect specifications, drawings and item lists and pass them to the project manager for pricing

• For retail: present the range and partner terms, agree on first and repeat orders, check how products are displayed and sold in the store
• Watch competitors and prices in the field and share what you see
• Take part in negotiations and follow up with clients until the order is paid
• Grow existing clients: other categories, repeat orders, next projects
• About you
• 2+ years of B2B field sales in building materials, sanitary ware, lighting or tiles — to construction projects, stores or dealers
• Experience as a sales representative for a building materials brand or distributor is a strong plus
• Contacts among contractors, mandors, developers, architects or building material stores in Bali
• Fluent Bahasa Indonesia and good spoken English
• Lives in Bali, has own motorbike and a valid driving licence
• Comfortable with a smartphone, WhatsApp and a CRM; able to write short reports
• Disciplined: you plan meetings ahead and always know your next step with each client
