ABOUT US
Further Hotel is a boutique luxury hotel set across four distinct sites along Jalan Pererenan. Designed by world-renowned architect MorQ, it is positioned to become one of Bali's most iconic destinations in its segment.
ROLE PURPOSE
We are seeking a skilled Accounting Professional to support our Chief Accountant during a phase of significant operational development.
The focus will be on hands-on accounting support, contributing to day-to-day operations and ensuring financial processes run smoothly while assisting the Chief Accountant.
This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate will be dependable, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with the senior team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Chief Accountant in daily accounting and financial activities.
- Assist with month-end closing, reporting, reconciliations, and ledger management.
- Prepare and review financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
- Support internal and external audit processes, including preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor requests.
- Assist with tax compliance and preparation of tax-related reconciliations and supporting documents.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures.
- Coordinate with the outsourced CFO for specific project-related deliverables.
- Help maintain cash flow tracking, budget monitoring, and financial analysis.
- Provide administrative and technical support during the current accounting transition.
REQUIREMENTS
Must Have
- Solid experience in accounting roles (minimum 3–4 years).
- Strong English (written and spoken).
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
- Ability to work in a structured and autonomous way.
- Experience supporting internal and external audits.
- Good understanding of Indonesian taxation (VAT, Withholding Tax, and general tax compliance).
- Strong reconciliation skill and excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with XERO accounting software.
Nice to Have (but not required)
Experience in hospitality is a plus, but not mandatory.
