About the role
GU Commerce is looking for a Finance & Accounting Staff to handle daily financial recording, reconciliation, and monthly closing across our business operations. You will work closely with the management and operations team to ensure that transactions are recorded accurately in Accurate Online, marketplace settlements are properly reconciled, and the company's financial records are always up to date. This role is suitable for someone who is highly detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and disciplined in completing financial records on a daily basis.
- Key responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions into Accurate Online
- Perform daily bank reconciliation
- Reconcile marketplace settlements from Shopee, TikTok Shop, Tokopedia, Lazada, and other sales channels
- Match marketplace sales, fees, commissions, refunds, promotions, and settlements with internal records
- Record accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions
- Monitor outstanding customer receivables and supplier payables
- Verify invoices, receipts, purchase documents, and payment supporting documents
- Ensure transactions are recorded using the correct account and cost classification
- Reconcile sales records between marketplace, BigSeller, bank accounts, and Accurate Online
- Assist with inventory and COGS reconciliation
- About you
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in Finance or Accounting is preferred
- Fresh graduates with strong accounting fundamentals are welcome to apply
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles, journal entries, AR/AP, and financial reconciliation
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Able to investigate discrepancies instead of simply recording transactions
- Able to work with high transaction volumes
- Responsible for meeting daily and monthly closing deadlines
- Experience with Accurate Online is highly valued
