Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, business administration, or management. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, brevet) is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, and tax management
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial/accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in the retail or e-commerce industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Job Description
Oversee and manage the company’s financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure effective financial management and mitigate risks.
- Coordinate and manage annual audits and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and ensure effective liquidity management.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to management to support decision-making and business growth.
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations, and ensure the company’s compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning, analysis, and business performance monitoring.
