We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Finance Staff to manage day-to-day financial operations, maintain accurate financial records, handle accounts payable and receivable, and assist with financial reporting. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of relevant finance or accounting experience, strong attention to detail, good understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process supplier invoices, verify payments, prepare vendor disbursements, and manage timely billing and collection from clients.
Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate general ledger entries, post daily cash transactions, and ensure proper document archiving for auditing.
Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and report discrepancies promptly.
Financial Reporting: Support the senior team in preparing monthly financial statements. Ensure all financial transactions are properly documented and recorded.
Compliance & Administrative Support: Ensure financial activities comply with company policies, accounting procedures, and applicable financial standards. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Finance Staff or similar role, experience handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial documentation is preferred, experience working with accounting software is an advantage.
Technical Skills: Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards, proficient in the use of accounting software (Xero or others) and spreadsheet applications, ability to accurately handle financial data and maintain proper documentation.
