Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage bookkeeping up to full financial statements
- Drive financial planning, prepare forecasting reports, analyze Plan vs Fact expenses
- Conduct on a regular basis bank reconciliation
- Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization's operations
- Manage internal payments
- Prepare reliable current reports (tax report, monthly P&L and balance sheet preparation, quarterly and annual financial statement review, etc.)
- Overseeing audit and tax functions
- Prepare month-end and year-end close process
- Keep abreast with financial laws, rules and regulations and internal policies
- Develop and implement Indonesian tax planning strategies to optimize the company's tax position while ensuring full compliance with DJP regulations
- Control and optimize costs
- Liaise with Tax Authorities
- Be point of contact for all financial questions and issues in the Office
- Provide strategic tax and financial advice to management on significant business transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring
- Manage the accounting general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing processes
- Oversee compliance with Indonesian labor law, corporate tax obligations, and regional tax requirements
- Support internal audit functions and provide documentation for external audits and regulatory inspections
- All other tasks related to financial accounting
- Create and present detailed reports for upper management
- Provide feedback to the Finance Department
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field from a recognized institution
- Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in Indonesian tax, accounting, or finance roles
- Comprehensive knowledge of Indonesian tax system including income tax (PPh), value-added tax (PPN), and other statutory taxes
- Demonstrated expertise in Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (SAK) and international accounting principles
- Practical experience with Indonesian ERP systems and accounting software (Oracle, SAP, Accurate, or similar platforms)
- Fluent in Indonesian and English (verbal and written); ability to communicate complex accounting concepts clearly
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and proficiency with office productivity tools
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
- High level of integrity, discretion, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
