About the role

PT Thunder Skirt is seeking a dedicated and professional FOH Service (Front of House Service) staff member to join our hospitality team in Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences at our establishment. As FOH Service staff, you will be the face of our business, responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring every visitor leaves with a memorable experience. Your professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail will directly contribute to our reputation and success in the competitive hospitality and tourism industry.

• Key responsibilities
• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and seat them at appropriate tables in accordance with restaurant procedures
• Present menus to guests and provide recommendations based on their preferences and dietary requirements
• Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests using point-of-sale systems or order pads
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, ensuring correct items are delivered to the correct guests
• Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests
• Clear tables efficiently and reset them for the next service with appropriate cutlery, glassware, and napkins
• Process payments and handle cash or card transactions accurately and securely
• Maintain exceptional standards of personal hygiene and appearance at all times
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow and resolution of any issues
• Comply with all food safety, health, and safety regulations and company policies
• Assist with general dining area maintenance and upkeep throughout service periods
• What we're looking for
• Previous experience in a front-of-house or hospitality service role, preferably in a restaurant or similar establishment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse guests and team members
• Excellent customer service orientation and genuine passion for creating positive guest experiences
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail
• Proficiency in English; additional languages such as Mandarin, Japanese, or European languages are advantageous
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays or items safely
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette
• Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude towards work
• Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
• Basic mathematical skills for order processing and handling payments
