The Furniture Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily workshop operations with full accountability for manpower, workflow, and fabrication quality. This role carries independent responsibility in supervising carpenters, machine operators, and finishers to ensure that the work is accurate, efficient, and delivered on time according to the project schedule. Serving as the primary bridge between design concepts and production output, this role is vital in building a disciplined, efficient, and solution-oriented workshop environment.
Supervising daily workshop operations by aligning tasks with shop drawings, managing manpower, and ensuring timely and accurate fabrication until products are ready for shipment.
Maintaining high production standards by ensuring the accuracy of work, resolving material or design issues, and enforcing safety, cleanliness, and discipline in the workshop.
Overseeing carpenters, machine operators, and finishers to ensure accountability, efficiency, and strict compliance with SOPs and established quality standards.
Supporting Responsibilities
Coordinating closely with Drafters, the logistics team, the site team, and other parties (as required) to align production with project requirements.
A Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 2–3 years of experience in workshop supervision for furniture fabrication.
Strong technical knowledge of materials, furniture production methods, and workshop operations.
Familiarity with machinery processes (CNC, edging machines, side drilling machines, etc.), including setup, operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and production sequencing.
