Key Responsibilities – General Affair Manager (Food Manufacturing & Retail)
Develop and implement General Affair strategies to ensure the effective and efficient management of corporate facilities, assets, and support services while supporting the achievement of business objectives.
Manage corporate facilities and infrastructure by ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance of buildings, utilities, work areas, and operational facilities across offices, manufacturing plants, warehouses, and retail outlets.
Manage corporate assets, including asset planning, inventory management, control, utilization, periodic stocktaking, and asset disposal in accordance with company policies.
Manage General Affair operational services, including security, transportation and fleet operations, cleaning services, pantry, reception, and other workplace support services to ensure smooth business operations.
Manage vendors and service providers through vendor selection, contract negotiation, Service Level Agreement (SLA) management, performance evaluation, and cost optimization initiatives.
Ensure compliance with applicable licenses, permits, and regulations related to corporate facilities, while maintaining effective relationships with government authorities and other external stakeholders.
Develop, control, and optimize the General Affair budget through operational cost planning, budget monitoring, and cost-efficiency initiatives without compromising service quality.
Drive workplace improvement and sustainability initiatives by promoting safe, comfortable, and environmentally friendly facilities, energy efficiency, waste management, and business continuity support.
Develop and ensure the implementation of General Affair policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and governance practices to enhance operational effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness.
Lead, develop, and enhance the capabilities of the General Affair team by setting performance objectives, providing coaching and mentoring, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.
Bachelor's Degree in any discipline, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Management, Business Administration, or other related fields.
