- What you'll be doing
- Leading and managing the engineering department, including recruitment, training, and development of technical staff
- Developing and implementing technical strategies aligned with company objectives and industry best practices
- Overseeing product development, design, and manufacturing processes to ensure quality and compliance with standards
- Managing budgets, timelines, and resources for engineering projects and initiatives
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product, operations, and quality assurance to drive innovation and efficiency
- Conducting technical audits and implementing improvements to optimise processes and reduce costs
- Ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in all engineering operations
- Mentoring and coaching engineering staff to foster professional growth and technical excellence
- Identifying and evaluating new technologies and equipment to enhance production capabilities
- Preparing technical reports, documentation, and presentations for senior management
- What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering management or senior technical roles, preferably in the manufacturing or beauty industry
- Proven expertise in technical project management, process optimisation, and quality control
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities with experience managing diverse technical teams
- In-depth knowledge of engineering standards, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to product design and manufacturing
- Strong communication skills in both Indonesian and English, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly
- Experience in budget management and cost optimisation
- Certification in relevant areas such as ISO management systems, Six Sigma, or similar quality management frameworks is advantageous
