About the role
- Chook and Roo's is seeking a
- Hostess Daily Worker
- This is a
- full-time position
that plays a crucial role in creating the first impression for our guests. As Hostess, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in experience. This role is essential to our commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality and maintaining the warm, professional atmosphere that defines Chug and Roo's.
- Key responsibilities
- Greet and welcome all guests with a warm, genuine smile upon arrival
- Manage the front desk reception area, ensuring it remains clean, organised and professional at all times
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately
- Handle and manage reservation bookings via phone, email and online platforms
- Provide guests with information about facilities, amenities, local attractions and dining options
- Address guest enquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy, escalating issues when necessary
- Maintain accurate guest records and registration documents
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Assist with basic administrative tasks as required
- Maintain confidentiality regarding guest information and company policies
- What we're looking for
- Previous experience in hospitality, guest services or a similar front-facing role is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills in English; fluency in additional languages is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm and professional in busy environments
- Genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service
- Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
- Proficiency with computer systems and basic office software
- Ability to multitask and prioritise responsibilities effectively
- Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of a dynamic hospitality environment
